Book Spine Poetry Contest

To celebrate National Poetry Month and National Library Week, the Weaver Library is sponsoring a Book Spine Poetry contest. Anyone is welcome to participate in the event!

Guidelines to Book Spine Poetry

  1. Pick some books from our shelves, your own collection, your local library or bookstore.
  2. Create your poem by piling books in order.
  3. Take a photograph.
  4. Title your poem.
  5. Submit it to the contest!
    1. Facebook (Find us at "Great Falls College MSU eLearning and Library Services" or http://www.facebook.com/gfcmsu.LibandLearn)
    2. Email your creation to library@gfcmsu.edu
  6. Submissions will be accepted April 1st through 5:00PM on April 8th
  7. Poems will be displayed in the library and on the Voting webpage.
  8. You may vote on your favorite poem at library.gfcmsu.edu/bookspinepoetryVote.htm between April 14th and 11:00AM on April 25th.
  9. The author of the winning poem will be announced at 12:00PM (noon), April 25th.
